I got the idea of doing these drawings by noticing(at the time)that while there were lots of cartoony drawings of cars, and lots of tight, realistic paintings of cars, there were no images incorporating both approaches. A series of these were printed up as tee shirt designs on Black tees. Media for these drawings is Prismacolor pencils on 8.5"x11" Black Canson paper.
