Admittedly, I've never been comfortable at painting. There is so much to understand and learn about it, I love the challenge though! Here are three samples showing different approaches I've tried over the years. The first is an Acrylic painting of a caricature of The Batman. Here I used a combination of brushes and some airbrush work to get the results. The second is a book cover illustration assignment using an experimental technique of oil glazes over a sealed charcoal drawing. The third is a straightforward acrylic painting using only two colors, White and Burnt Sienna. This image is an illustration of my alter-ego: Car-Head.
